Net Impact Orlando Resources

Net Impact Orlando focuses on providing basic information and opinion and a growing catalog of sustainability business action examples that can be used by other members to jump start defnition of a project for their company, to decrease the learning curve associated with a specific sustaniability action, and to provide possible input to business cases.  We also are developing for the major business segments of Orlando business, summaries of the best management practices for sustainability culled from various Web resources.  There is no reason to reinvent the wheel and we credit anywhere we are able to get useful best practices or areas of focus for a specific sector.  We often hear there is not enough information.  We think some of that feeling is there is too much information that it is hard to know what information to zero in on.  We expect our sector sustainability best management practices help provide an initial focus for a member working in that sector.

We are also working on learning workshops and events to increase member and community learning on sustainability.  Our first workshop will be The Natural Step Sustainability Introduction workshop because having a sustainability framework is the underpinning for strategy development and day to day decision making for more sustainable business and living.
